Field recordings have become evermore popular as an audio storytelling device in music, sound art, radio and beyond. But once you’ve captured these unique and evocative sounds, elevating them into the textures and atmospheres we envision can seem like an illusive process. 

A meditation in sound. The Vibrations from a range of gongs envelop you in a bath-like way, helping your mind and body relax, reset and rejuvenate. Local Gong specialist Karen Haylor creates a musical outpouring of fascinating tone chaos that is uniquely pleasing to the mind and pleasurably felt by our human body.

In The Beginning… is a collection of creation stories from around the world, adapted and dramatised for audio as an immersive listening experience for children (and adults!). Participate in a live storytelling performance bringing two of these stories to life with actors Hawa Khan and Pablo McFee and live percussion, sound effects and audience participation.
