Radio Limbo is the flagship show of Bristol’s label Limbo Tapes, offering listeners a monthly trip through visionary music and audio curios, woven togther with a dub mentality. At times dreamy, others nightmarish, the show navigates the obscure, the beautiful, and the surreal with humour and sharp edits, often re-purposing existing radio material.
This special xmtr festival presentation, hosted by Pete Hazell, will dive deep into original material from the Limbo sound world, showcasing signature music, vivid cut ups, ambiguous skits, and eerie soundscapes. There is also the very real chance of drifting further, including elements of this year’s podcast series “Limbo Calling” in which, coincidentally, a mystery is unfolding around the character known as “Old Leonard…”
